The Lake Norman Marine Commission has been advised that the following Aids To Navigation (ATONs) are in need of repair, non functioning, missing or not in their proper location.

  • Marker 17  Light out – Repair –  (March 2017)

Shoal/Rock Markers

  • Rock Marker – Pinnacle Shores –  Wrong Sign – Replace Triangular Sign Boards with Diamond Shaped Boards  (Jan 2017)
  • Shoal Marker – Queens Landing – Closest to River Channel – Leaning – Pole Might be Broken

Bridge Buoys

  • Bridge Buoy – South side of HWY 150 at Lake Norman Marina – Missing  (Spring 2016)
  • Bridge Buoy – Rail Road Bridge Mountain Creek – West Side Missing – (November 2016)
